Love through the miles

by Terrance Boult

When you and I are we,
Our love does set me free.
But when we are kept apart,
It weights upon my heart.
When leagues are in between,
The pain grows very keen.
When time is twixt thee and I,
I feel as though I'll die.
But just one little kiss
Replaces pain with bliss.
And thus I know it's true,
that I'm in love with you.
